Sorting of waste throughout the hotel and restaurant enables us to reduce our landfill contribution significantly.

Wherever possible, we source local and regional products that are made from and / or packaged in post-consumer materials.

Our culinary team tends to herbs, vegetables, and flowers in the Chef’s Meadow and partners with neighboring farmers to produce best-in-class cuisine while reducing our carbon footprint.

We are proud to feature Healdsburg’s Black Oak Coffee Roasters and Uppercase Tea, a woman-owned local enterprise that has devised a fully compostable foil wrapper for optimal freshness and sustainability.
Sonoma Farmers

Our chefs curate ingredients from local farmers’ markets and close relationships with small producers nearby.
The Stavrand Store

Here, we showcase ceramics and jewelry from local artists, cider vinegars and caramels from Little Apple Treats, and Sonoma’s beloved Comet Corn popcorn.

Every Stay Gives Back

The Stavrand, in partnership withKind Traveler’s Every Stay Gives Backprogram, supportsFarm to Pantry in Sonoma County, California.

The mission of Farm to Pantry is to bring together communities to end food injustice and reverse global warming by rescuing and sharing locally grown food with those who have been systematically marginalized.

The Stavrand donates $2 of every guest stay to Farm to Pantry. 100% of donations go to the charity.
